Ariane's Bio
Before transitioning to consulting, I spent nearly ten years at SA2020, a nonprofit that drove progress toward a shared community vision in San Antonio, Texas. I led operations, creating and continuously improving systems and processes that enabled the organization to efficiently move toward its mission. Thanks to my behind-the-scenes work – and the work of many other great humans – SA2020’s work in research, storytelling, and practice has been recognized both nationally and internationally.
Prior to SA2020, I collaborated with individuals and teams in San Antonio to organize and execute impactful events and programs for both for-profit and nonprofit entities. One of my top career highlights was orchestrating a visit from First Lady Michelle Obama during Destination College in 2014, as she launched her Reach Higher Initiative.
I grew up in Southern California but have enjoyed calling San Antonio home for more than 25 years. I earned both my bachelor’s degree in Communication and my Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The University of Texas at San Antonio (Go ‘Runners!). I am also a Salesforce Certified Administrator. (Once a learner, always a learner!)
I have been a member of the United Way of San Antonio and Bexar County's Ready Children Impact Council (RCIC) since its launch in 2018. The RCIC ensures all children grow up in safe, stable and nurturing environments, are healthy in mind, body and spirit and are curious learners progressing towards their full potential. In this role I have contributed to the strategic planning of two five-year funding cycles, using my knowledge of community data to effectively address gaps in the community. I work closely with the United Way team to continually enhance processes for grant reviews and evaluation of grantee programs. I began serving as Vice-Chair of the RCIC in February 2024.
My past volunteer efforts include coordinating logistics for PechaKucha Night San Antonio, using my public relations experience for good as a part of the ALS Association’s Walk to Defeat ALS event committee, and (reluctantly) serving on the board of my homeowner’s association. I am also a proud graduate of the 2017 Alex Briseño Leadership Development Program (ABLDP) through the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me traveling, experimenting in the kitchen, listening to live music, reading, and laughing with my family and friends. Maybe even all at the same time!
